Enduring Powers of Attorney


This is a document where you appoint an agent to make decisions relating to your financial matters while you are still alive. It could take effect immediately and continues after you are not mentally capable of making financial decisions by yourself.


Personal Directives

This is a document where you appoint an agent in advance while you are alive who will make personal decisions relating to your health care and where you live in the event you are not capable of making such a decision die to a life threatening condition.

 

Estate Administration 

This is the legal process that distributes your properties when you die. If you have a will your properties will be distributed according to your will. If you do not have a will, your properties will be distributed according to Legislation (Succession Act Alberta).
